• Quality Control Procedures:
• Develop and implement quality control procedures for painting and coating processes.
• Ensure adherence to project specifications and industry standards.
• Inspections and Testing:

• Check surface preparation and atmospheric conditions before starting painting operations1.
• Compliance Monitoring:
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to painting and coating.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality control activities.
• Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and compliance.
• Issue Resolution:
• Identify and address any quality issues or defects in painting and coating processes.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement corrective actions.
• Training and Supervision:
• Train and supervise painting and coating personnel to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the team.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in painting and coating technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Certifications such as NACE Coating Inspector or SSPC are highly desirable.
• Experience:
• Experience in quality control within the painting and coating industry.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing quality control procedures.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of painting and coating techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and tests.
