QC INSPECTOR (STEEL) JOB VACANCY IN ROODEPOORT.

Our client, a leader in the steel fabrication industry, dedicated to delivering high-quality products and services is currently looking for a Level 1 QC inspector to join their team.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in steel fabrication and at least 3 years of experience in quality control.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control within the steel fabrication industry.
• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication processes, welding techniques, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
• Certification in Quality Control (QC Level 1).
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards is an advantage.

• Perform quality inspections on steel fabrication projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Conduct dimensional checks and visual inspections of welded and fabricated components.
• Verify materials and parts used in production against engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
• Identify and report non-conformities and coordinate with the production team to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in the development and improvement of quality control processes and procedures.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during inspections.
