Description:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The technician is responsible to perform preparatory lab work in support of Raw Materials, In-Process, Finished Products, Stability and Microbiological testing within QC. This may include but not limited to facilitating all activities related to routine testing that require set-up or cleaning and all non testing activities that are required to provide QC service to other departments, in a manner consistent with established standards. This position is also responsible for simple ancillary tests, calibrations and maintenance of test tools and equipment and other housekeeping activities.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Associate degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Biochemistry or related field is helpful.
- Minimum education requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Individuals with experience in a cGMP laboratory environment with good communication and reasoning skills are preferred.
