Description:
YOUR CALLING
- Perform regular quality assessment on all incoming materials from vendors, and outgoing parts for shipping
- Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations
- Read mechanical drawings, plans and specifications to understand the requirements of the product
- Measure product dimensions and compare the final product to the specifications
- Visual inspection on finishing goods befor packing
- Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics e.g. number of defective products per day
- Monitor the use of measuring equipment to ensure it is safe and well-maintained
- Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control
- Other ad-hoc responsibilities given
