We are now looking for a proactive, resilient and highly skilled laboratory professional to lead our microbiological laboratory in our site in Turku as QC Testing Microbiological Laboratory Lead.
Responsibilities:
- You will serve as the head of our microbiological laboratory, responsible for ensuring compliance with laboratory operations and the effectiveness of operational processes and work arrangements
- Engaging and developing staff is an essential part of your role
- You are responsible for planning, implementing and prioritizing laboratory work in both short and long term
- You will oversee the laboratory budget (costs, investments) and its monitoring
- You will be driving microbiology related process improvements and also striving for microbiological monitoring of cleanrooms
- You will review and approve written procedures related to your area of responsibility (e.g., equipment qualification plans and reports, SOPs, analytical methods, research plans and reports, protocols and reports for validation of microbiological methods and sterilization processes both in production and the laboratory)
- You will be responsible for HSE matters in the laboratory in accordance with Finnish regulations, taking Bayer’s guidelines into account
- You will participate in the continuous development of operations in collaboration with other managers and experts
- You will also contribute to global networks and communities in quality control area
