QE Lead

Infosys is seeking a Qe Lead. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications:

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Austin, TX or be willing to relocate to the area
• Bachelor of Engineering / Technology related to Computers, Communications, Electronics required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• At least 4years of software testing experience
• 4+ years of core java or Selenium Test NG automation experience
• API automation using Rest Assured
• Proficient in writing SQL queries
• Agile experience
• Understanding of CI/CD
• Understanding of test management process and SDLC/STLC
• Good soft skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Thorough understanding of test automation, UI/Backend test automation concepts
• Good Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Abilities in Test Strategizing, planning and co-ordination.
• Ability to contribute towards in depth technical content required on test automation proposals.
• Experience in designing and building test automation framework.
• Experience in creating Automation Test Strategy and Test Plan
• Translate user requirements and application features into testing requirements
• Strong understanding of testing processes and testing life cycle
• Ability to work independently and take ownership
• Ability to work in team in diverse/multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email, and face to face.
