Responsibilities:
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an amazing QHSE Officer to join our dynamic Business Excellence Team. You will play a key role in developing, implementing, and improving QHSE management systems to support business operations in compliance with ISO standards, while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the organization.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
In addition to the above, you’ll focus on the following:
- Undertake QHSE audits internally and with suppliers or external providers/contractors, following the company’s approved audit program. Coordinate with departments to address preventive or corrective actions identified during inspections and monitor their timely closure.
- Develop, facilitate, and review QHSE risk assessments for routine and non-routine activities in consultation with the QHSE Manager.
- Record QHSE key performance indicators (KPIs) monthly and issue reports as needed. Suggest improvements to KPIs to enhance system performance and continuous improvement.
- Foster a behavioural-based safety culture within the organization through safe job observations.
- Conduct daily walkthroughs in facilities to monitor and promote workplace safety.
- Actively participate in HSE incident investigations and prepare required reports in consultation with the QHSE Manager.
- Facilitate regulatory QHSE meetings, committees, and workshops.
- Create and sign off on risk assessments and method statements (RAMS), ensuring compliance for ATEX work areas.
