QS Engineer (Central) (5 days work) / JY

• Assist the QS Manager in calculating quantities and costs for tender assignments, ensuring supplier proposals meet all requirements.
• Understand general contracts and various tender documents.
• Provide budget estimates as instructed.
• Liaise with suppliers for product and service presentations.
• Find solutions to technical issues during the tender process.
• Communicate with other departments regarding documents and issues.
• Coordinate with suppliers/contractors for follow-up on bills and quantities.
• Evaluate market rates for materials and labor monthly or quarterly.
• Hand over all tender documents and costing to the project team once awarded.
• Attend site visits for interested tenders.
• Respond to tender clarifications and prepare for interviews and presentations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Min. Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Min. 1 year of mechanical engineering working experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Sub-Contractor environment.
