Description:
The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced QSHE Manager to join the dynamic team of one of our clients in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is one of the leading Integrated FM service providers in the region. The QSHE Manager will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the highest standards of Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) within our facilities management operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in QSHE principles, business processes, ISO standards, regulatory compliance, and risk management, and will play a crucial role in fostering a culture of safety and quality across our organization. Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain the QSHE management system in compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with QSHE policies and procedures, and identify areas for improvement. - Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, and develop corrective and preventive actions to mitigate risks. - Provide training and support to staff at all levels to promote adherence to QSHE standards and best practices. - Collaborate with management and operational teams to ensure effective risk management strategies are in place. - Monitor and report on QSHE performance metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. - Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting QSHE in facilities management. - Engage with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory bodies, to promote the organization’s commitment to QSHE excellence. - Prepare and present QSHE reports to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and areas for concern. - Cultivate a culture of safety and quality throughout the organization by leading by example and promoting best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in a QSHE role within the facilities management industry or a similar environment. - In-depth knowledge of QSHE regulations, standards, and best practices, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001. - Proven track record in developing and implementing successful QSHE management systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate risks effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. - Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops to promote QSHE awareness and compliance. - Ability to work independently and lead a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is highly desirable.
