To strengthen our team in the UK, we are looking for:
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership/management of all QSHE employees and be the Voice of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment for the entire UK organization:
- Build the Safety, Health, Quality & Environmental organization to meet production and customer needs
- Provide the vision for all employees to further the QSHE goals of the company
- Ensure the workings of QC laboratories of all sites in the country
- Develop and manage the annual Quality budget
- Insure proper training and development of all employees
Oversee all food safety and regulatory compliance initiatives including HACCP, SQF, FSMA, Pest Control and Sanitation in line with the highest industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Oversee all Health, Safety and Environmental issues in line with local legislation working with all functional departments to ensure their compliance to local law.
Lead customer and third party audits as appropriate.
Oversee the customer complaint and CAPA (Corrective Actions and Preventative Actions) processes using RCFA (Root Cause Failure Analysis) to continuously improve our products and our processes
Oversee the Safety processes and reporting to continuously improve safety practices.
Instigate and co-ordinate the hold/rework and incident reporting program at each plant facility to minimize the financial impact while insuring the highest quality of our products
- Co-ordinate improvement program for holds/rework and any safety investigations
- Co-ordinate structured investigation of product/ingredient defects using RCA and accident/incident investigation and reporting to Group and local bodies (e.g. HSE)
Oversee the Documentation function and requests made by the Customer
- Supply certificates of analyses upon customer request
- Supply Puratos approval information upon customer request.
- Prepare for customer audits as requested
- Lead and implement a mock recall system for selected customers
Lead or sponsor initiatives to advance the QSHE agenda of Puratos and of UK Operations
