Description:
We are looking for Quadra Island Base Crew to join our tight-knit team! These individuals will play an essential and valued role in the Spirit of the West team. Full time and part time seasonal positions based on Quadra Island (Mid May to the end of September.)

Responsibilities:
HOW SPIRIT OF THE WEST SUPPORTS THIS ROLE
- Access to training for ongoing professional development

- Weekly scheduled times for meeting with owners and other managers to support communication and ensure we all are working together toward our goals
- Ongoing mentorship from owners and senior staff
Responsible for maintaining a tidy and organized work space by:
- Keeping the front entrance and backyard tidy
- Bringing in any dry gear and laundry from the lines
- Cleaning and organizing extra gear in the hallway and main work areas, including back table
- Ensuring laundry is done, including sleeping bags and rain gear
- Keeping sleeping bags organized and scheduled by drying them after each trip, ensuring they are washing according to the schedule and that every sleeping bag in use has a clean liner
- Organizing recycling, taking out the garbage and compost, and cleaning dishes
- Re packing gear such as tents, kitchen kits and informing management if you find items in need of repair
- Completing any tasks allocated on the Daily Schedule including, but not limited to: recycling, cleaning the bathroom, cleaning the fridge, cleaning the staff house and moppin
