You’ll be joining the Group Treasury Accounting Team (GTA), which consists of 2 Leads and 3 senior specialists and 1 associate. GTA is responsible for ensuring that the P&L and balance sheet accurately reflect the activities of the Treasury function, manage any accounting implications of treasury activities and leverage their specialist knowledge to report on these activities to a range of stakeholders. GTA is part of our Group Treasury function giving excellent insight into the inner workings of Treasury.

What Will You Be Doing?
GTA are responsible for managing the accounting processes of the Treasury function. To support this, you will be:
- Working closely with the treasury teams to ensure that activities they are undertaking are accurately captured in the treasury management system, and that this feeds through to the ledger.
- Reporting on treasury’s financial position to a variety of stakeholders: regulatory reports, financial statements, internal management reports.
- Running the Group’s hedge accounting processes.
- Supporting the Group’s planning processes including ICAAP.
What Do We Need From You?
We are looking for someone with an analytical and strategic mind-set with the ability to interpret and manipulate various sources of data. You will have a strong understanding of process and controls with the ability to organise work towards tight deadlines. Attention to detail is essential as you will have to make sure all your work is accurate.
You will have experience in finance and will hold a professional qualification such as; ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent
