KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Flexible approach to meet the high demands of the practice. Previous experience in a receptionist role, alongside the dental nurse role. Strong skills in patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patient needs
  • Reliable, proactive, self-driven. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to complete many tasks fully & effectively in a busy environment
  • Keen to share knowledge as well as learn and upskill
  • Be able to bring to the team valuable contributions & skilled assets that you currently use and are proven to work in all dental environments as a basic or something new for us all to learn.
  • Upbeat, confident & well presented in attire and demeanor
  • Excellent speaking & listening skills, proficient in English, both written and verbal, with strong communication skills. Effective & clear understanding of others to ensure a smooth interaction with patients and staff alike
  • Provide exceptional patient care by assisting with dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort
  • Manage reception duties, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries, taking directive from the lead receptionist / TCO
  • Utilise IT systems – Dentally, to maintain accurate patient records

Responsibilities:

London Dental Arts is seeking a qualified, strongly experienced dental nurse to join our dynamic and strongly built team. They should have an equal amount of keen interest in being at the heart of the practice with our front facing team on reception, as well as being a part of the clinical team. This diverse and flexible candidate will have strong and confident customer care skills with confidence & passion for discussing and coordinating treatments, all the while ensuring patients have the optimum ‘Gold Standard’ experience with us. There is no lower level of expectation than this for our patients.

The candidate will also be reliable, flexible, self-driven, forward thinking, and with a proactive approach to the demands of the practice. They will be working directly with the lead nurse and also with the practice manager for a streamlined approach to the different areas of the role(s). The clinical aspect of the role also encompasses mentoring our trainee dental nurses with their apprenticeship programmes. This will be inclusive of the administrative components for the trainee and the training provider, with any hands-on training and guidance, drawing on the candidates (your own) knowledge, skills & experience to share with new and developing trainees.
