THE OPPORTUNITY:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA) with a strong practice background
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice, including exposure to audits and tax compliance
  • Excellent technical knowledge of Irish tax laws, accounting standards, and reporting requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centric approach
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools, such as Sage, Xero, or Relate

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will work closely with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounting, tax, and advisory services. This role requires technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to managing client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and companies
  • Managing and delivering statutory audit assignments
  • Preparing corporate and personal tax returns and ensuring timely filing
  • Providing advisory services across a range of tax areas, including VAT, PAYE, and income tax
  • Assisting clients with financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Supporting junior staff through mentoring and review of their work
  • Liaising directly with clients to provide expert advice and build strong working relationships
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax regulations
