In this role, you will:

  • Manage all activities relating to the – Quality Assurance Program in BC.
  • Monitor Babcock minimum standards for conformance.
  • Report findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program to the QA Manager and keep a record of those findings and any corrective actions taken as a result of those findings.
  • Distribute, through the QA Manager, findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program to the appropriate manager for corrective action.
  • Monitor the corrective action plans and follow-up actions for findings of non-conformance made under the Quality Assurance Program, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner and are effective.
  • Monitor all technical and regulatory data, including company procedures, processes, forms, and other documents and the MPM, ensuring they remain current and effective.
  • Monitor the system which ensures precision tools, measuring devices and test equipment are calibrated and that the records of calibration are maintained.
  • Ensure maintenance records, service difficulty reports and internal audit reports are completed and processed in accordance with the MPM.
  • Monitor the company training program ensuring all aspects remain current and effective.
  • Monitor personnel training records, ensuring they remain current.
  • Monitor Certificating Authority and the records of those authorizations in accordance with the MPM.
  • Monitor, for compliance with the MPM and regulatory requirements, all activities carried out by the company.
  • Work in Co-operation with operational and maintenance managers to monitor and assess concerns raised under the Quality Assurance program regarding their effect on the company.
  • Travel to other provinces as required to ensure the Quality Program is maintained.
  • Provide training as required.
  • Undertake other duties as assigned
