Description:

This is a fixed term position that will end in October or November, 2025.
Work closely with subject matter experts from each business unit and functional teams to support the establishment and maintenance of Canada’s Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with high quality standards and best practices, Health Canada requirements for medical devices, and promote continuous improvement of the system.
What will you be doing?
Ensuring the promotion of awareness of applicable regulatory requirements and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements throughout the organization. Ensuring the promotion of awareness of applicable Regulatory and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements throughout the organization.
Support document control activities (change control, record keeping) to ensure compliance with procedures. Manage and maintain updated all documentation in the SmartSolve electronic system.
Assist in execution and monitoring of the QMS elements such as NC/CAPAs, Complaints, Adverse Events Report, Field Actions, Quality Holds, Quality Suppliers, Document Control, Sample and Demo process, Audits, Management Review (MR), Metrics and Reports of the Quality System of the site, Trainings and others.
Assist in maintaining records as they relate to all aspects of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in Canada.
Assist in following-up on quality notifications (e.g., hold, rework, recall) received from the manufacturers and ensure appropriate actions are taken to restrict distribution.
Assist in coordination of all field actions or recall-related activities as per the defined recall strategy established by the manufacturers.

What will you need to be successful?

  • Education:Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a science, business, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in quality
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Canadian Food and Drugs Act and related Regulations.
  • Basic knowledge of Quality Management Systems and ISO 13485.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication.
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
