Are you passionate about quality and compliance?
We’re looking for a Specialist to support our Quality Management System at DePuy Ireland UC and provide quality oversight for GSC projects. If you’re looking to make a difference and ensure flawless, compliant execution of critical processes, this role is for you!
What you will be doing:
In this role, you will manage specific quality system processes, ensuring they meet business and regulatory needs. You will serve as the point of contact for Authorised Representative Verification activities, working cross-functionally to drive compliance and continuous improvement.

What impact you will also have:

  • Works directly with various customers of the quality system processes to ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements.
  • Compiles, contextualizes, evaluates, and presents Quality Systems data and metrics as required.
  • Utilizes quality tools to track, trend and communicate quality performance metrics in presentations/reports/dashboards.
  • Identifies personnel that require training on the relevant processes and rolls out training as required.
  • Proactively examines/reviews systems and processes, to identify/assess areas for review, improvement, change, or elimination and with specific focus on simplifying and standardizing processes.
  • Supports the assigned processes during internal and external audits.
  • Responds to and drive/participate in investigations and corrective action implementation for identified quality issues.
  • Assists in creating a culture of quality awareness and communicating the quality management system, GMP and associated documents and procedures to all staff.
  • Supports activities as part of the Authorized Representative function.
  • All employees are responsible for minimizing both the environmental and Health and Safety effects of the work they perform.
  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

We would love to hear from you if you have the following essential requirements:

  • A third level qualification (preferably Science or an Engineering related discipline)
  • Three or more years of related experience in a regulated industry environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Understanding of applicable GMP/QSR regulations and knowledge of Quality Systems.
  • Ability to take initiative.
  • Works and communicates well with others in a team environment
  • Follows appropriate safety practices to prevent accidents to self or others.
  • Demonstrates history of positive interpersonal skills showing courtesy, tact, and understanding in interactions with co-workers, even under stressful circumstances.
  • Knowledge of applicable GMP/QSR regulations and knowledge of Quality Systems.
