MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Automation and functional testing experience
  • Experience in API testing and use of tools like REST Assured or POSTMAN
  • Web app automation using Selenium or Playwright Knowledge in one of the languages – Java/Kotlin/C#
  • BDD Test Approach and Scripting using Cucumber
  • Working experience of CI/CD using Bamboo, Jenkins or any equivalent tool
  • Code management tool like Git or any equivalent tool
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile frameworks
  • Experience in test management tools such as JIRA, X-Ray
  • Experience in Test Cases Traceability with Requirements (using JIRA, X-Ray).

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Experience working with Agile methodology using tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence etc.
  • Understanding of test-driven development with frameworks like Jest
  • Mobile app automation using Appium
  • Ability to work with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as, Java, HTML, as well as XML and JSON feeds.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are a MUST.
  • Previous experience in the banking sector is an advantage
  • Proven experience writing test plans, test strategies, test cases, test reporting
  • Self-motivated and ability to work with the business

Responsibilities:

  • While primarily responsible for Quality Assurance you will be expected to proactively contribute in all agile ceremonies (Sprint planning, Estimation, Daily Stand ups and retrospectives) to ensure that every user story to meet Definition Of Done (DOD).
  • Raising any defects found during test and escalate in accordance with set procedures to ensure resolution of issues within appropriate timeframes to minimise impact on project quality and schedule
  • Managing test infrastructure and execution of automated tests, and continuously maintain automated test cases
  • Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved mobile app performance.
  • Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams
  • Identifying the automatable and non-automatable Sprint/Release test scope
  • Automation and manual validation\testing of banking apps on iOS and Android apps
  • Functional and non-functional testing of the digital product
  • Accessibility Testing of digital products
  • Providing technical guidance/coaching/mentoring to other engineers
  • Contributing to growing the engineering community through our grad and intern programs
  • Contributing and be an advocate to the wider development and engineering community through participation in development guilds for knowledge sharing and learning.
  • Deployment of application in various test environments and then delivering it to the testing team for Integration testing.
  • Performing unit and integration testing to ensure the code coverage of the specified business requirements and to ensure quality and maintainability of the delivered code.
  • Creating and updating of support & operational documents and user manuals
