Job Description
MSC provides critical supplies to the clinical, life science and pharmaceutical industries in Ireland. The company is ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certified and accredited to ISO 17025. This role will assist in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system (QMS) in alignment with ISO standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. This role supports the Head of Quality in ensuring the highest standards of product and service quality.
Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Head of Quality Manager in the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Quality Management Systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with the above ISO standards.
Conduct quality activities, including internal audits, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with MSC departments to maintain and improve quality-related processes, procedures, and metrics.
Assist in external audits by NSAI / INAB or customers.
Monitor quality performance indicators, analyse trends, and report on quality metrics.
Ensure staff training on quality processes, documentation, and standards is conducted and up to date.
Act as the Head of Quality in their absence, taking full responsibility for quality management activities and decisions and thereby prepare for potential advancement in the company.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement, developing action plans, and monitoring the effectiveness of changes.
Complete monthly health and safety checks around the premises.
SAP support - maintain the integrity and quality of the SAP ERP system by ensuring the creation of items and pricing adhere to established procedures.

Proven experience in quality assurance, quality management, or similar roles, ideally in an ISO-certified environment.
Strong understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Knowledge of ISO 17025 is an advantage.
Experience with internal and external audits, CAPA, and quality process improvement.
Proficiency in using quality management software and data analysis tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong attention to detail.
