WHAT YOU BRING
We expect a good Bachelor or Master degree in business informatics, computer science or in any comparable field.
You should have a strong acumen for quality topics and the will to take over responsibility in this area. If you already have some knowledge in tools and processes used for quality assurance, software delivery and testing as well as quality related KPIs this will be ideal.
Further requirements are:
- First experience in software development and software quality assurance (e.g. projects or internship during your studies)
- Basic knowledge of with scrum and Agile Software Engineering (ASE) techniques like test-driven development, test automation via unit tests, pair programming, etc.
- Thoroughness in your work and the will to follow-up on things from the beginning to the end
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Interest in financial business processes and willingness to build up domain knowledge over the time
- Proficiency in English and advanced German skills

Responsibilities:
You will be part of a diverse team of highly motivated colleagues. Together we drive success of our solution for Revenue Recognition. The applications developed in our unit and team are an integral part of SAP’s solution portfolio for Finance in the Cloud.
Your responsibility will be covering all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle. As Quality Associate you will work in a scrum team and apply agile software engineering principles. You will help planning, coordinating, and tracking quality measures.
Within the continuous integration and testing process within S/4HANA Public Cloud you will work with the required tool set.
As a part of the network of quality engineers in our development unit (Compliance, Risk & Tax) you will closely align on overall quality aspects and act as a bridge to pass relevant information from central teams to your scrum team.
Also, you will help the team keeping focus on agreed Clean Desk KPIs, like incident handling, ATC issue analysis, daily test automation results.
You are expected to play an active role raising your voice regarding quality aspects of our software.
There will also be the chance to take over other tasks based on need and considering your interests. Furthermore, you will continuously enhance your knowledge and skills on the job while keeping up to date with latest trends.
