ABOUT THE TEAM

The team are working in an Agile, SAFe development environment. The team is made up of developers, testers and a Product owner. As a Quality Assurance Analyst you will be responsible for hands on functional testing on the payment’s platform. You will be working with your agile team to deliver products and change requests of the highest quality whilst proactively identifying improvements and enhancements on the platform and to the overall testing processes.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be designing and planning test strategies for projects and applications
  • You will be undertaking planning activities for agile deliveries
  • You will work alongside the Senior Automation Tester to progress automation backlog items
  • You will create automated tests to enhance the existing test suite using Selenium
  • You will support and maintain the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features and bug fixes
  • You will be analysing requirements and user stories to derive automated test cases, adding to the test suite using Selenium or Postman
  • You will be executing tests thoroughly to ensure software quality, running automated tests and identifying defects
  • You will be actively contributing to process improvement initiatives and enhancements to current procedures including recommending quality improvements
  • You will be working with project teams to resolve any issues in a timely manner whilst keeping relevant stakeholders informed of progress and challenges
  • You will be supporting and maintaining the test automation framework with respect to implementation of new features, existing features, or bug fixes
