Description:

Alief - International Services YMCA is a unique branch of the YMCA of Greater Houston and seeks to meet the needs of Houston’s significant refugee and immigrant communities. We provide comprehensive programs that focus on building human assets and fostering self-sufficiency. As a Quality Assurance Auditor on our team, you will play an integral role in helping refugees, asylees, Cuban border crossers, Special Immigrant Visa holders and victims of human trafficking gain access to a wide range of social support services with the goal of becoming self-sufficient.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Bachelor degree and/or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, automobile liability insurance, and a vehicle.

Responsibilities:

The Quality Assurance Auditor will primarily be responsible for inputting data into the database, insuring R&P files are completed after 90-day. Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and review R&P files for compliance within rules and regulations
  • Assist with maintaining case files as required by program
  • Maintain case notes in the Refugee Management Services database (RMS)
  • Prepare and submit reports to Program Director
  • Ensure file compliancy at 30 and 90-day from date of arrival for all clients in R&P program
  • Provide guidance to case managers regarding file and case note compliancy, and ensure revisions are completed in a timely manner
  • Assist with completing 90-day reports for R&P clients to federal funder
  • Report suspicious and inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
  • Follow mandated abuse and incident reporting requirements.
  • Meet timelines and deadlines related to supporting systems and employee compliance.
  • Responsible for tracking, correcting and reporting of identified compliance questions, issues, audits and monitoring through the use of a developed program
  • Accountable for findings during funder audit/monitoring
  • Assist program director in monitoring the performance of the department when it comes to funder audit and monitoring
  • Examples include but are not limited to Kronos Workforce Ready for review and approval of time sheets
  • Other duties as assigned, including airport pickups and food pantry distribution
