Description:
JOB ADVERT SUMMARY
To oversee and examine production outputs to ensure that they conform to specifications and internal company standards. The Quality Assurance Controller shall ensure compliance with the food safety and quality system in the assigned area of responsibility.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Grade 12
- Relevant experience
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of thermometers/infrared
Responsibilities:
- Maintain high level of hygiene throughout the processing plant.
- Comply with the quality control program.
- Report deviations from the standards operating procedure (SOPs).
- Follow up on corrective actions.
- Carry out duties as prescribed in duty sheet.
- Recording of relevant start – up standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for conducting product presentations at IQF.
- Responsible for temperature monitor at IQF
- Monitor product variance.
- Report workers not adhering to the required standard.
- Ensure effective communication within section.
