Job Title: Quality Assurance and Data Analysis Specialist (QADAS)
Job Type: Full Time Permanent
Reporting to: Clinical Director
Salary: CAD 30.31 to CAD 33.45 hourly
EDUCATION AND SKILLS
- Preference will be given to Master’s in social work, Psychology, Psychotherapy or relevant area of study. Bachelors with experience will be considered.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Training and use of SPSS
- ChYMH training and use is an asset
- EMHware training and use is an asset
- Experience working in quality assurance and data analysis
- Knowledge and use of evaluative tools for program evaluation purposes
- Proficiency in Excel and Power Point are assets.
- Independently motivated and productive, able to manage and prioritize across multiple projects and assignments
- Team-oriented and dedicated to promoting team development, a positive work culture and organizational health
- Experience working collaboratively with clinicians, administrators and policy makers
- Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written, using software to analyze and present results.
- Knowledge of the relevant data quality processes, frameworks, and methodologies
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others internal and external to the organization

Responsibilities:
- Lead and support program/department-level and corporate-level quality improvement initiatives.
- Apply QI methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, A3, Kaizen, and DMAIC to drive process improvements and enhance patient client outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement QI projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Monitor the progress and effectiveness of QI initiatives, providing ongoing support and expertise to teams.
- Prepare comprehensive reports that include tracking, trending, graphs, and analyses of patient client safety and QI program outcomes.
- Utilize statistical data analysis to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Create and deliver presentations to various stakeholders using PowerPoint, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Ensuring FYS data assets are of high quality, usable and accessible to meet the analytical needs of the organization
- Planning, organizing and participating in internal and external working groups and advisory committees.
- Implement data quality process, governance, and effective use of tracking and management tools
- Lead coordinator for Accreditation. Understanding and ensuring adherence to accreditation standards in relation to quality assurance and evaluation of all areas of operation
- Review of existing tools for evaluation and researching and identifying evidence informed tools informing effectiveness of services/programs
- Analysis of ChYMH and EMHware data
- Implementation and analysis of evaluative tools and facilitating presentation of outcomes to relevant stakeholders with development of action plan to address areas of need/growth.
- Facilitation of youth and caregiver focus groups.
- Involvement in Caregiver Engagement initiative
- Involvement in research and data collection for regional partnerships
- Primary role in BI ministry submissions.
- Use of social media and website management for to better improve the quality of care.
- Developing training materials in support of senior management which translates our quality improvement initiatives.
- Tracking and reviewing internal BI with management
- Evaluating DEI initiatives
- Opportunity for involvement on regional and provincial committees
- Special projects
- Any other duties assigned by the management.
