The Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for empowering the technology platform
and service development at Apex Health Solutions. As a Quality Assurance Engineer in Platform
Operations, you would be responsible will play a critical role in managing the quality and rigor
with which our platform solutions are developed. Join our fast-paced, experienced team of

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Quality Assurance: Develop, implement, and execute quality assurance strategies and
  • procedures for data pipelines, data warehouses, webservices and related software
  • systems.
  • Testing and Validation: Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to
  • validate data integrity, accuracy, and completeness within data pipelines, data
  • warehouses and webservices. Perform functional, integration, and regression testing to
  • identify defects or potential issues.
  • Data Quality Monitoring: Develop and implement data quality monitoring processes and
  • tools to proactively identify and address data quality issues. Collaborate with data
  • engineers and business analysts to establish data quality metrics and thresholds.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve data quality issues,
  • working closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, data analysts, and
  • developers. Implement preventive measures and process improvements to minimize
  • future issues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders including data analysts, healthcare
  • professionals, and development teams to understand requirements, provide quality
  • inputs, and ensure alignment with quality standards and best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain documentation of quality processes, test plans,
  • test cases, and test results. Generate regular reports on quality metrics, test coverage,
  • and defect tracking.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation,
  • and efficiency gains in the quality assurance and testing processes. Stay updated with
  • industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to healthcare data
  • pipelines and quality engineering.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Computer Science, MIS or equivalent degree
  • 5+ years of quality engineering & analysis experience
  • Experience operating in a cloud-based platform (Azure preferred)
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data resources preferred (Azure Data Factory strongly
  • preferred)
  • Familiarity with working in a regulated industry
  • Able to communicate and present complex issues with customers, partners, and leaders
  • Hands-on experience testing Data Migrations, ETL workflows, data pipelines, databases,
