JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and services meet the highest standards of quality, security, and performance. You will work closely with the development, product, and engineering teams to test, evaluate, and optimize the software and platforms that support our services. The QA Engineer plays a critical role in identifying issues, recommending improvements, and verifying that fixes are implemented accurately.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience in testing mobile and web applications
• 2-3 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or QA automation in tech-related industries, ideally within fintech companies.
• Strong understanding of decentralized applications (dApps), and smart contracts.
• Experience with testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestRail, Git).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., Apache JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Strong understanding of security practices and risk management fintech systems.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).Strong communication and teamwork skills

Test Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various platforms, applications, and features.
Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and performance testing on wallets, exchanges, smart contracts, and other products.
Automation & Tools: Implement automated testing tools and frameworks for repetitive tasks, ensuring scalability and efficiency in testing.
Work with development teams to integrate testing tools (such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman) into continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Defect Identification & Reporting: Identify bugs, issues, and discrepancies in the applications and report them in a clear and concise manner.
Create detailed defect reports and follow up with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
Security & Compliance Testing:Conduct security audits and perform vulnerability testing on platforms to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (such as GDPR, KYC/AML compliance).
Work closely with security experts to assess protocols and ensure robust security practices are followed.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure comprehensive understanding and testing of requirements.
Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and stand-ups to stay updated on product developments and potential areas of concern.
Performance & Scalability:Conduct performance testing to assess scalability and reliability of platforms under heavy traffic and high-volume transactions.

Monitor performance bottlenecks and suggest improvements to ensure platform stability.Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and defect logs.Provide regular status updates to the QA manager or Lead, outlining testing progress, results, and any roadblocks or concerns.
