SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to create suites of automated and/or manual test cases that exercise business requirements
  • Ability to create and maintain both written and visual artifacts to support what defines quality for the squad
  • Capable of using tools to query databases (CosmosDB & SQL Server) for validating data & diagnosing issues.
  • Capable of using various test management tools such as Test Pad.
  • Capable of using automation frameworks
  • Working understanding software development lifecycle in a production setting
  • Be proactive in identifying test cases upfront not just retrospectively
  • Have a voice and opinions within the team throughout design & development phases.
  • Understand the fundamentals for Web Apis & Messaging.
  • Knowledge in Azure, in particular Application Insights & being able to query logs to pull together an opinion of what could be wrong.
  • Exposure to the retail industry.

Whilst your primary focus will be quality assurance, you will also develop an understanding of the business of retail and turning this understanding into solutions that support our customers, staff, and partners. Willing and able to contribute to any part of the delivery pipeline, you thrive on the opportunity to solve complex problems, take pride in your craft and actively seek continual improvement of self, team, and organisation.
You will be self-motivated, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and enjoy contributing to the success of an Agile squad.
