OVERVIEW:
This Quality Assurance Executive, Product Integrity 12m maternity cover role is a fantastic opportunity to expand on the quality control expertise you’ve already developed in the apparel industry. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our sporting apparel meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. Working alongside our Quality Assurance Manager, you’ll help drive product integrity from development to production.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
It is essential that you already have quality assurance apparel experience – sporting goods/seamless background is particularly useful. We are also looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Textile Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of textiles, garment construction, and quality control processes.
- Expertise in athletic apparel testing, fabric testing, and evaluating test reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
Responsibilities:
As our Quality Assurance Executive, you’ll work hand in hand with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Regional Quality, Raw Material, and suppliers.
Your meticulous attention to detail will be invaluable as you maintain precise records of documentation and approvals, providing vital insights through comprehensive KPIs. You’ll ensure each technical pack handed over to production is clear and ready for success.

Key tasks include:
- Risk Assessment: Thoroughly assess product risks with suppliers and development team; ensure all risks are mitigated or resolved.
- Development Follow-up: Ensure clarity between GS and suppliers to avoid quality issues; assess trial reports for potential concerns.
- Raw Material Bulk Validation: Manage bulk validation and testing of raw materials to meet GS standards for performance and quality.
- Critical Operations: Identify key manufacturing operations that require quality checks and additional attention during production.
- PPS Sealing: Oversee sample validation, ensuring compliance in fit, construction, materials, and measurements before sealing.
- Pre-Production Meeting: Ensure PPM completion, clarify all points, communicate quality checks, and validate the PPM report for all new products.
- Claim Management: Manage and resolve quality claims, implement corrective actions, and integrate learnings into the development process.
