SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Qualification

  • Degree or higher in relevant scientific area (pharmacy, chemistry, or Biology) or equivalent experience in a pharmaceutical setting.

Previous Experience

  • A strong background in Quality Assurance, preferably with experience in Quality Assurance to produce Sterile injectable products and/or radiopharmaceuticals but is not essential.
  • Ideally has a practical experience in activities of quantitative and qualitative analyses of active substances and of the necessary testing and checking to ensure the quality of medicinal products or associated relevant experience.
  • Experience of other roles such as Production/QC or QA in a radiopharmaceutical setting would be advantageous but not essential. Skills / attributes
  • Experienced in Microsoft Windows products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • First class written and communication skills. Good listening skills.

Responsibilities:

Due to significant expansion, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Radiopharmacy Team.
If you are an experienced QA Manager/Supervisor with a proven track record in successfully leading a team, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for.
The QA Manager will be an active member of the Site Management Team, representing the interests of QA and act as the Quality Assurance lead on site. As a member of Quality Leadership, they will work with the Operational Management Team to ensure the Local and Global Quality Systems operate in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice promoting continuous improvement and consistency across the business. The QA Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Quality Assurance Officers, a Document Controller and Admin and Quality Support Officer including management of absence, sickness and overtime.
The QA department oversees the effectiveness of the Quality Management Systems supporting the manufacturing, testing and release of the product. Prior experience within a radiopharmaceutical setting is desirable, extensive experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Quality Management Systems is essential. Full training will be provided for suitable candidates with limited experience in radiopharmacy and will cover radiation safety in detail.
The hours of work for the roles are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
