EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (postgraduate qualifications preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance within the higher education and/or VET sectors.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance and governance in a Registered Training Organisation or higher education provider.
  • A strong understanding of regulatory standards in VET, HE, ESOS/CRICOS, and HESA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office365.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Quality Assurance Manager will support the Head of Quality Assurance in implementing governance, risk management, and quality assurance frameworks across our institutions. This role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards in Vocational Education and Training (VET), Higher Education (HE), HESA, and ESOS/CRICOS. You will also assist with governance and regulatory engagement activities.
This position will be based at our Sydney campus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implement and manage quality assurance and governance processes for HE and VET sectors.
  • Ensure compliance with HESF, RTO standards, CRICOS, and HESA requirements.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for audits, reviews, and senior management.
  • Assist with preparing TEQSA, ASQA, and other government applications.
  • Develop and implement reviews and audits as part of the quality assurance cycle.
  • Coordinate and conduct training sessions on QA standards and best practices.
  • Serve as Executive Officer for the Teaching and Learning Committee, Grade Review Committee, and Executive Management Group.
  • Take minutes and follow up on action items from the Academic Board and Risk Management Committee.
  • Prepare reports for senior management and governance committees
