We are now looking for a

Responsibilities:

AS QUALITY ASSURANCE OFFICER FOR CONSTRUCTION SITES (M/F/D), YOUR WORK WILL FOCUS ON THESE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of reliability and failure analyses for the installation phase in accordance with general technical rules, contractual requirements and/or requirements of the classification societies
  • Support in the preparation and execution of quality assurance acceptance tests (FAT “Factory Acceptance Test”, “Installation+Integration”, HAT “Harbour Acceptance Test”, SAT “See Acceptance Test") for military projects
  • Planning, implementation, control and monitoring of QA activities during the installation phase, including the subcontractor(s)
  • Handle all product/process non-conformities (NC) related to installation work at the yard (record NC, perform root cause analysis if required, perform corrective/preventive actions, report on NC) in coordination with the site manager.
  • Contribute to the QA KPIs of the business unit
  • Support in the preparation and follow-up of internal and external audits in coordination with PQM (e.g. ISO 9100)Development of measures to reduce warranty costs

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • Education: Master craftsman / technician in electrical engineering or comparable education
  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant professional experience in the field of electrical installation on ships
  • Good knowledge of all relevant standards and regulations, especially in the field of military shipbuildingGood command of written and spoken English, German - Native speaker
