Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to join our friendly and dynamic team to provide high quality of quality assurance work for aseptic services.
You will be part of a new expanding quality assurance team of highly professional and dedicated staff whose aim is to provide an excellent, patient focus service.
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust strives to innovate and improve care to patients. The Trust has recently approved the business case for a new pharmacy aseptic, clinical trials and radiopharmacy facility. The new facility is expected to be in operation at the end of 2025.
The prime function of the unit is the preparation of cytotoxic, monoclonal antibodies and clinical trials in a safe and efficient manner according to Good Manufacturing Practice and National Standards.
Our aim is to provide our valued staff with excellent training in Quality Assurance to become skilled, highly competent, and confident in their job roles. We encourage innovative working which includes the development and future proofing of our facilities to meet the growing needs of the service. We promote learning and development within our organisation.
To provide Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance Services to Aseptic Unit, in accordance with the current licensing regulations and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and where appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.
Will be based within the Quality Assurance team of the pharmacy department.
To support the operational needs of the department i.e. act in the supervisor’s absence in certain matters relating to QA
To support Quality Assurance Lead and Higher-Level Pharmacy Technician i.e. act in their absence in certain matters relating to QA.
Undertake further education and training to advance the role of quality assurance within the department.
Support the work of the pharmacy aseptic unit in the provision of an extended hours service.
