What are we looking (Skill & Experience Requirements):

  • At least 3 years in software development specializing in test automation using JavaScript, React/Angular, and Cypress.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks, integration testing, continuous integration, and test design.
  • Experience with internet technologies and a deep understanding of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for tooling and the ability to coach engineers on unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience

THE ROLE

Bookipi is looking for a Quality Assurance Software Engineer to join our fast-growing team. We are looking for an exceptional problem solver who can enable our team to continue to deliver a top-class codebase at scale.
Having grown 10x in the past years, Bookipi needs your expertise to continue scaling successfully. Bookipi is a high-growth fintech company based in Sydney with a “remote first” work policy .
We are a Remote First company and allow full Work From Home.

WHAT YOU WILL DO (KEY ACTIONS & DUTIES):

  • Create Test Strategies: Develop and implement test plans to ensure our products meet high-quality standards.
  • Automate Testing: Use your skills to build reliable and efficient automated tests.
  • Write Test Code: Design and write scripts to thoroughly test our systems and make sure they work well.
  • Monitor and Improve: Keep an eye on product development and use your insights to help improve product quality.
  • Build Test Tools: Develop and maintain the tools and infrastructure needed for smooth testing.
