Description:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or higher is preferred in technical, scientific, or related field
EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in quality assurance, quality engineering, or manufacturing engineering with at least 2 years in people management
- Experience with leading quality initiatives for new product introductions
- Experience in process improvement, non-conformance management, risk management
- Familiarity with validation process design and process validation, change control, and auditing quality management systems preferred
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001, 13485, or similar quality management systems
- Able to travel occasionally (<15%) domestic and international
Responsibilities:
- Support new product development teams from design feasibility through commercialization to enable operational success through and beyond mass production.
- Drive a robust First Article inspection program by using the SAP Quality Module to prevent future process and product non-conformities
- Lead and encourage a strong product quality culture by establishing and actively driving performance expectations, while providing development and training opportunities.
- Regularly leverage production and field data to identify, prioritize and coordinate improvement projects focused on improving Customer Experience, Field Service, and Operational metrics.
- Ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented optimally to address the root cause of quality complaints and failures from Operations and Customers.
- Proactively engage team members to ensure product or process issues are identified and addressed to meet internal and external customer needs.
