Description:
Concord Premium Meats Ltd. (MarcAngelo Foods) is a growing and innovative food manufacturing company seeking well-organized and self-motivated individuals for the positions of Quality Assurance Technician. The positions are full-time with both day and afternoon shifts available. The candidates must be flexible to work weekends and be able to travel to different plant locations during the course of their day.
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible to ensure the production process meets superior food safety systems (HACCP) and quality standards from entry of raw materials into the facility, to the processing of goods, to shipment of finished product. The ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and will demonstrate an ability to work independently and be pro-active in identifying deviations and corrective actions.
The Quality Assurance Technician is a member of the Quality Assurance Department and reports to the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Superior communication and organizational skills
- Excellent decision-making and time-management skills
- Post secondary education and/or related Quality Assurance experience
- Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP systems
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment is an asset

Responsibilities:
- Conducting product sampling and environmental swabbing
- Ensuring day-to-day manufacturing practices meet accepted food safety and product quality standards
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to Quality Assurance activities and HACCP
- Monitoring and following Good Manufacturing practices
