Quality Assurance Technician

LOCATION: HUNTINGDON

Hilton Foods are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician. Reporting to the Quality Systems and Product Safety Manager, you will provide QA support for HFG and supporting the effective management of the UK site technical department and function providing assurance of compliance with customer and industry specific legislation, covering all food safety, quality issues and authenticity.

TO SUCCEED AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN, WE ASK THAT YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE:

• Have the ability to liaise directly with all levels internally and externally on a daily basis
• Have knowledge of bespoke computer/labelling systems and be able to trouble-shoot accordingly
• Be able to multi task and prioritise own workload
• Ensure effective lines of communication are in place within the Technical Department.

AS A QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN SOME OF THE RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

• Liaise between Technical Department and Production Department
• Support in carrying out internal site audits( GMP/Glass and Hard plastic)
• Carry out Competency checks for production operators to a schedule
• Daily operators CCP verification
• Carry out start-up checks and various machine verifications
• Routine factory paperwork verification against specifications
• Ensure all Technical paperwork is completed correctly
