OVERVIEW

We are looking for a proactive and meticulous functional QA Tester to join our forward-thinking team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions that shape the future of education technology. Your keen eye for detail and documentation skills will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our Ed-Tech products, providing you with a unique opportunity to make a significant and lasting impact on the way knowledge is shared.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Academic Background: Holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field will be considered a plus.
  • Certified tester: Holding a ISTQB certification will be considered a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Demonstrate proven experience as a QA Tester or in a similar role.
  • Testing Expertise: Have a good understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Manual Testing Skills: Demonstrate solid experience in manual testing, with a strong ability to identify and report defects.
  • Automation Skills: Any knowledge of test automation will be considered a plus.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills essential for effective teamwork.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is a mandatory requirement for effective communication within the team and project.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Quality Assurance: Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams to collectively define, design, and deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software features and components meet specified requirements.
  • Test Structure Organization: Organise test sets and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage and easy maintenance.
  • Defect Identification and Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performance and Usability Testing: Evaluate software performance and usability, ensuring it meets user expectations and industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in the continuous improvement and optimization of QA processes, enhancing quality, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Industry Trends Incorporation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, and adeptly incorporate them into our QA processes.
