SUMMARY:
The Case File Quality & Compliance Specialist works closely with the Director of Quality and Compliance as well as the leadership team of the Refugee Resettlement Services (RRS) Department to ensure that employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory programs, contract requirements, agency policies and procedures, and the Catholic Charities’ Code of Conduct.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Must have a strong moral code and sense of ethics
- Exemplify strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
- Must be detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, work well independently and on a team.
- Must have good written and verbal skills.
- Must have good critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the development of monitoring case files internally and its procedures amongst assigned programs.
- Perform regular case file reviews, monthly, quarterly and at randomly a.
- Follow grantors case file check lists and monitoring tools provided by the agency and or the assigned programs funder to ensure programs are following their policies and contracts.
- Regular review of program requirements, contracts, plan of operations, and staying informed of policy changes and revisions.
- Keep record of case files reviewed, documenting errors found, and corrections made.
- Training of program staff in providing proper and required documentation of client records, filling out activity logs thoroughly and completely and staying informed of funding sources case file requirements and timelines.
- Assist with accreditation activities and reviews, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Completing ongoing PQI tasks and quarterly activities
- Work closely with the RRS Senior Director
- Adhering to safety training and protocols on a daily basis and taking precautionary measure to ensure the safety and well-being of self, others.
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality and Compliance & Chief of Admin.
