Responsibilities:
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complies with all state and local regulations
- Performs frequent QC audits on produce and grocery products throughout the warehouse.
- Responsible for verifying the quality and accuracy of inbound deliveries, including temperature and pressure checks.
- Identifies and reports any potential food safety or quality problems, immediately escalating to the Lead and/or Supervisor.
- Documents and maintains legible, accurate records of all food products in the warehouse including discarded and damaged products from various departments.
- Performs basic mathematical computations when conducting audits, inspections, and cycle counts.
- Reports any issues regarding low yields so they can be escalated appropriately.
- Effectively manages time and changing priorities to minimize downtime in the receiving and production departments.
