We are seeking an experienced and dynamic quality engineer to join our growing team. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the development and maintenance of efficient engineering processes and high-quality production and quality approval standards. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in quality assurance, engineering processes, and project management to deliver excellence in product and operational quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cost-effective processes from the design phase to operational setup
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical and engineering concerns
- Analyse and resolve production issues to improve yield and efficiency
- Lead and conduct internal audits according to ISO 9001 standards
- Prepare and manage PPAP documentation
- Ensure compliance with quality management systems and customer specifications
- Lead problem-solving initiatives, including 8D and root cause analysis for customer and supplier issues
- Monitor and report key quality metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Oversee NCRs, corrective actions, and supplier quality audits
- Manage individual projects using engineering principles and techniques
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget
- Claim management to key customer accounts
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma in Engineering Technical Support
- Diploma in Engineering
- ISO 9001 Auditor Training
- Core Tools Awareness (SPC, MSA, FMEA)
Skills and Experience:
- experience in Quality Engineering
- Expertise in internal audits, customer audits, and quality standard implementation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Proven problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Self-motivated with a methodical and adaptable approach
Preferred Certifications/Training:
- FMEA, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA)
