Description:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

Essential:

  • Trade background – time served in trade discipline
  • Experienced in the use of Co-ordinated Measurement Machine (CMM) & Portable Measurement Arms (FARO)
  • Experienced in Receipt Inspection
  • Experienced in ERP systems i.e. SAP
  • Experienced in the use of a wide range of minor measurement equipment including: Slip Gauges, Micrometres, Bowers Micrometre, Height Gauge, Borescope
  • Experienced at reading & interpreting tight tolerance technical drawings

Desirable:

  • Qualified to Level 1 or 2 of National Physical Laboratory (NPL)

Responsibilities:

  • This role will require the dimensional inspection of product to the relevant specifications and technical data and reporting accordingly
  • You should have the ability to interpret CMM reporting formats
  • You will be identifying non-conformance with input into corrective actions
  • It is required that you work cross-functionally to support any gaps or deficiencies found during the inspection activities
  • Ensuring the basic maintenance of CMM, Measurement Arm & Minor tooling is carried out
  • You will take control of calibrated equipment
