BMC continues to build on our market leading reputation and experience in the LV Switchgear Manufacturing and Maintenance Sectors and are currently in a significant growth phase. As part of our continuous improvement, we are hiring a “Quality Control Inspector” to report to the Quality manager n our company based in Ashbourne Co Meath this is a full -time permanent position.
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for ensuring that all Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear products meet the company’s quality standards and customer specifications. This role involves inspecting, testing, and verifying the compliance of switchgear components and assemblies at various stages of the manufacturing process. The inspector will work closely with production teams to identify defects, ensure adherence to quality protocols, and maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in LV Switchgear or electrical equipment manufacturing.
• Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in using MS Office and internal QMS system
• Proficiency in using inspection and testing tools.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
