Description:

Quality Control Inspector
We are looking for a Quality Control Inspector to join our Edmonton facility, Dyna Flo. You will have experience working under minimal supervision within a manufacturing machine shop environment performing a wide variety of inspections, checks and tests for quality control for the manufacturing of products. You must be familiar with the standard concepts, practices and procedures within the machining field, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks, and responsible for accepting, rejecting and ordering rework of the items using our NCR process and procedure.

Your Challenge

  • Performs dimensional inspections of machined components, castings, ferrous and non-ferrous parts, and raw materials. Analysis of material test reports to ensure compliance with the company standards is also required.
  • Performs first offs and in process inspection of machined parts and components at the machining centre.
  • Competently use a variety of dimensional tools such as vernier caliper, OD/ID micrometer, depth gauges, GO/NOGO gauges, etc.

What You Bring

  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role as an inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
  • Machining and CMM experience are preferred.
  • HS diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Technical/Trade school accreditation is preferred.
  • Valve manufacturing experience is preferred.
