Description:
SUMMARY:
The QCI Specialist will be responsible for managing quality control and assurance policies and procedures to ensure that all products and services meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in quality control and assurance, preferably in welding, fabrication, or related industries.
- Knowledge of quality control standards and quality management systems.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge and experience in using applications such as Blue Beam, Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.
- Knowledge and competency in using Windows OS.
- Welding/ Pipefitting or Boilermaker experience preferred.
- Understanding of pipping vessel, boiler parts, fittings and systems preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of materials, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and coordinate tests on materials, processes, and products to identify potential defects or deviations from specifications.
- Utilize various inspection and testing methods, tools, and equipment to assess product quality.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and present reports on quality assurance activities, findings, and improvements to QCM.
- Identify root causes of quality issues report to QCM.
- Collaborate with teams to improve manufacturing processes and reduce the likelihood of defects.
