ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

TDA are a leading organization in the nuclear decommissioning industry, managing a large team of engineers, project managers, and project services professionals. We are dedicated to ensuring the safe and efficient decommissioning of nuclear facilities in Cumbria. Our lead team is composed of senior leaders who are experts in their fields, and we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Quality Control Inspector to support the team.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Verification of Lifetime Records (LTR’s) to ensure that the requirements of technical standards as well specific user/client specifications have been met
  • Carry out inspection or surveillance activities to ensure that full technical procedural compliance is achieved throughout the manufacturing/fabrication lifecycle.
  • Verify that the correct, defined and calibrated equipment (measurement and test equipment (MTE) are used
  • Produce accurate and timely Inspection Reports
  • Provide advice and appropriate technical support to customers or suppliers on Quality Control (QC) and Inspection issues
  • To comply with and ensure understanding of legislative / regulatory compliance, policy, standards and procedures
  • To initiate non-conformances on items that do not meet the specified quality requirements.

  • PCN Level 2 Dye Penetrant Inspection
  • PCN Level 2 MPI
  • PCN Level 3 Radiopraphic Interpretation of welds
  • Member of CQI
