Description:
JOB SUMMARY
Quality control inspector checks the quality of incoming and outgoing products, as well as the any re-working processes and kitting. This job involves tasks such as: inspection of incoming goods, collection of retention samples, keeping a record of QC check and any non-conformity. Quality control inspector works in the warehouse area. This job is well suited to people with an eye for detail.
SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and experience of a Quality Management System, ERP system, ideally ISO 9001 or 13485
- Strong record keeping and filing
- An exceptional attention to details
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Able to adapt to the ever-changing environment due to rapid growth
- Able to use your initiative and be flexible, reacting to change quickly and effectively
- Able to work as part of a team to ensure successful delivery of the demands of our department
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, prioritising workload
- Experience of working within rigid regulations and procedures (ISO 9001 or 13485 – desirable)
- An understanding of medical terminology – desirable
- In depth knowledge of International Quality Codes and Standards - desirable
