Description:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • 5+ years of experience in third-party inspection services, specifically within the directional drilling sector.
  • 5+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Certification in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques (e.g., ASNT Level II or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in inspecting and evaluating drilling tools, subsea equipment, and lifting & rigging operations.
  • Technical understanding of operations within field of specialization (OCTG, Wellheads, Engineered Equipment, Drilling and Completion Tools, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of industry standards (e.g., API, ISO, DS-1, etc.) and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical information and collaborate across teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of directional drilling activities to ensure adherence to specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Implement quality control procedures and protocols to monitor drilling operations and equipment performance
  • Identify non-conformities, deficiencies, or areas for improvement, and recommend corrective actions
  • Validate technician certification(s) are current for the intended scope of activity
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection findings, testing results, and compliance documentation.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining observations, recommendations, and compliance status.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
  • Meet or exceed HSSE objectives of customer and Supplier, as well as PPI safety guidelines
  • Communicate job progression and inspection results to coordinator and Customer as required
