Overview:
PepsiCo is on the lookout for a Quality Control Supervisor to join our Operations team in Little Island on a specific purpose contract basis.

This role is based in our ingredients plant in Little Island and is a critical component to our manufacturing network. Operations is at the centre of everything we do, this is where our food and beverages come to life and is the start of the journey to getting our product in the hands of our consumers. Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Degree in Science and related discipline.
- Experience working with ingredients/materials/product.
- Good root cause analysis and troubleshooting experience.
- Experience in building excellent working relationships with cross functional teams.
- History of delivering on commitments and managing timelines.
- Ability to develop and streamline/improve processes.
- An understanding of GMP and other key manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and Mentor the Raw Material Analysts.
- Deliver accurate and precise analytical results.
- Ensure the accurate and timely analysis and disposition of products in accordance with PepsiCo standards and procedures.
- Ensure the daily exceptions and innovations calls are being met and maintained.
- Coordinate Ireland Raw Materials testing according to agreed turnaround and key priority items to ensure Raw Materials availability.
- Responsible for troubleshooting raw material issues working with lab supervisor, operations, R&D, support center and supply chain to develop corrective and prevenative actions ensuring integrity of products.
- Ensuring compliance to LI Laboratory training procedure/PGCS training programme – all test methods, auditing, quality systems training
- External Services – lab equipment and consumables – management of calibrations, compliance to ISO 17025 requirements.
- Support the site quality metrics, contributing insight to documentation and plant NRFT, working with operations on key focus areas.
- Support internal audits and preparation for ISO17025, FSSC and AIBI audits.
- Ensure lab quality documents are revised and updated with relevant information
