Description:

  • Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to guarantee compliance with quality standards.
  • Maintain records of quality inspections and related documentation.
  • Coordinate with quality, production, and stockroom teams to ensure accurate material delivery.
  • Verify the quality of stock room-issued materials.
  • Perform and document in-process quality checks.
  • Conduct specialized resistivity testing for specific products as per customer requirements.
  • Conduct final inspections, including dimensional measurements and 100% visual checks for products as required.
  • Conduct dimensional measurements and visual inspections of industrial line products as per sampling plan requirements.
  • Verify product measurements using microscopic imaging systems or other systems/tools.
  • Coordinate with shipping department for organizing, packaging, and labeling aircraft-related products.
  • Utilize JDE-ERP software for managing on-time quality product delivery.
  • Enter inspected orders into the system and coordinate with the shipping team.
  • Prepare certificates of conformance and special documentation as per customer requirements.
  • Assist in completion of the administrative component of the customers complaints, as well as, FAIR, PPAP, SMD, 8D, CAPA, SCAR, CAR, and I-NCR.
  • Provide guidance to production teams on drawing and visual quality-related queries.
  • Handle quality issues with incoming materials from suppliers and customer complaints, including initiating Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and managing Return Material Authorizations (RMA).
  • Coordinate with technical and quality departments to resolve RMAs.
  • Perform in-house calibration for specific tools and maintain calibration records.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO and Health & Safety policies.
  • Maintain measurement tools calibration cycle program.
  • Assist production in understanding non-conforming material and implementing corrective actions.
  • Maintain controlled documents and hardware specifications.
  • Review and analyze customer performance reports.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and prepare quality reports.
  • Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the QA manager.
  • Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years’ quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience using quality inspection tools, including calipers and gauges.
