Description:

EXPERIENCE

  • Must have experience within a manufacturing environment, with previous QC knowledge preferred. Knowledge of bakery product would be desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • Good attention to detail and ability to action quality issues timely.
  • PC skills including standard MS office packages as well as the ability to understand and learn computer software programmes.
  • Strong organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise, balance and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information in a variety of media, tactful and confident at all levels.
  • Self-motivated and meticulous with the ability to set and maintain exceptional working standards
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Responsibilities:

ROLE

Quality Control will be responsible for the daily running of quality related activities. Working with cross functional teams, the QC Technician will develop food safety and quality ethos to meet the requirements of all standards and codes of practice applicable to the site,
Ensure all products and processes meet current legislative customer requirements/specifications reporting to the Technical Co-ordinator

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and improve product quality and safety through current quality assurance systems.
  • Carry out product sampling and taste panels
  • Carry out daily quality control checks in production.
  • print labels and check ice print to make sure matches with the product”
  • Hygiene inspection and filling in reports accurately
  • Report to Technical any non-conformances; followed up when required with preventative and corrective actions.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the Technical Co-ordinator.
  • Perform raw material incoming inspections and prioritize quality activities to meet business needs.
  • Review and maintain all quality records, including traceability, relating to production tasks and provide weekly/monthly/quarterly feedback
  • Review and approve quality & production data for all products

· Train production staff in company procedure and work instructions

  • Work with the technical team to improve production performance agreed standards and work with employees as needed
  • Identify opportunities for improvements and support and lead projects for new product introduction and material changes.
  • Completion of other Quality tasks in response to the business, customer and supplier needs.
  • Conduct internal audit as per schedule
